Games for crabs'
It’s certainly not your typical software pirate story.
MCV reports that 61-year-old George Clarke was fined £3,000 after he traded pirated games, movies and CD’s to crabbers in Troon Harbour, England.
Clarke apparently hoped to score some cash, but settled for a box of seafood when he discoved the fishermen had no money. Someone must have snitched on Clarke, however. Perhaps a dissatisfied customer' From the MCV story:
Later that day, Mr. Clarke's premises were searched by officers… where three computers and over 200 discs containing illegally copied games for PC, PlayStation2, PSP, Xbox were seized. The PCs and discs were later examined by ELSPA investigators.
